Vertrexcom launches RF + PLC, Dual Mode Hybrid Mesh in EUW 2019, obtaining high inquiries



Hsinchu, Taiwan – Nov 21, 2019 - Vertexcom Technologies, a world-class fabless semiconductor company, first exhibited dual-mode, RF(radio frequency) and PLC(power line communication), hybrid mesh network at EUW (European Utility Week) 2019 in Paris from November 12th to 14th. The solution has attracted a lot of visitors to express interest, including smart meters, water meters, gas meter, and wireless communication module companies, as well as smart grid and IoT market-related players.

Vertexcom dual-mode hybrid mesh solution is characterized by supporting both wireless communication (RF) and power line communication (PLC) transmission methods, in line with the Wi-SUN or G3-PLC communication standard. The dual-mode hybrid mesh solution has the characteristics of low power consumption, wide-coverage, automatic mesh network, seamless complementary connection. Each node to node link in the mesh network can be established through RF or PLC based on the link quality, providing a flexible, high-speed, stable and reliable dual-channel communication network for IoT transmission, ensuring low delay, zero blocking and high robustness of FAN (Field Area Network) network transmission.
