VC7300 Series is Vertexcom’s first generation wireless SoC features a variety of power saving modes with powerful computing capability, makes the perfect solution to IoT networking and sensing applications.
The FAN (Field Area Networks) Certification Program has been developed by the Wi-SUN Alliance to certify devices for use by utilities, city developers and other service providers to simplify large-scale outdoor networks and IoT rollouts. The Wi-SUN Alliance certifies products based on their compliance to a communications profile derived from open standards and their ability to interoperate with other Wi-SUN certified products.
FAN provide a communications infrastructure for very large-scale outdoor networks. The certification signifies Vertexcom Sub-GHz wireless solution is capable of supporting Wi-SUN FAN 1.0 specification, and is able to connect and interoperate with other Wi-SUN FAN certified devices including advanced metering, streetlighting, sensors in smart cities, utilities and IoT network.
